Agentic media buying

Agentic media buying is an AI agent reading and changing your ad accounts through a connector, under a login your team sets up.

The connector presents the platform's API, its way in for software, to a language model as a named list of tools. The language model runs inside an AI assistant, such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, as the agent.

An agent can do only what its tools exist for and what the login it runs under allows, whichever model sits behind it. An agent will try any tool its login reaches, so the account owner gives every login the narrowest role that does its job. An agent that can change campaigns can still run at Level 1, where it only answers.

Example

A snack brand's buyer asks the agent how a spring promotion is pacing on Google. The model picks the connector's search tool, the connector sends the request to the Google Ads API, and the model answers in plain language, such as which Google campaigns are behind plan.
